Let's get ready to hit the ice!

Aug. 08, 2026

We are excited to welcome both new and returning players for another fantastic season!

We are hard at work preparing for U9 and U11 Pathway Skates and House League Sort Outs to ensure a smooth start to the season. Over the next few weeks, we'll be finalizing schedules, organizing volunteers, and getting everything ready to welcome players back to the rink!

Below, you'll find information about Pathway Skate times and Sort-Out times, along with important details to help your family prepare for the start of the season.

This year, we’re also excited to offer Shake off the Rust scrimmage sessions for players registered in our U13, U15 and U18 programs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents can expect to receive additional information by email closer to the end of August, including details about their player's assigned group, what to expect at the rink, and other important season updates. We encourage families to check their email regularly, as schedules and information will be updated as they become available. Please remember to check your spam folders as well, as sometimes emails get filtered there!

We appreciate your patience as we prepare for another exciting season and look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice soon!

Pathway Skates are optional, included with registration, and are not evaluated.

*Please note players will be receiving an email the week of August 24th to confirm the pathway groups they should attend. Exact ice times and location will be provided at that time.

Looking to get back on the ice before House League Sort-Outs begin? The Nepean Wildcats are pleased to offer "Shake Off the Rust" Scrimmage Sessions for U13, U15, and U18 NGHA House League players.

These informal scrimmages provide players with an opportunity to get their legs moving, reconnect with teammates, and ease back into game action before the season officially gets underway. Sessions are intended to be fun, fast-paced, and a great way to prepare for sort outs and the upcoming season.

Registration for these sessions is $10 per player and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but space is limited. Players must be registered for the 2026-27 Nepean Wildcats House League season to participate.
